Carson Valley Swim Center is now taking applications for lifeguards for the spring/summer 2012 season.

Lifeguard qualifications: Must have current certification in
American Red Cross (or it's equivalent) Lifeguard Training, Professional CPR, and First Aid

The next lifeguard class will start February 13, 2012.

Class pre-requisite:
Swim 400 yards nonstop using only freestyle and breastroke.
Tread water for 2 minutes using only legs (arms must be kept under the armpits). There is also a timed swim retrieving a 10# brick from the bottom of the pool.
